Future Snowboarding Magazine Shreds Competition On Newsstands

February 12, 2007

Continues Run as Newsstand Leader into Season Two

New York, NY – February 12, 2007 – FSM is pleased to announce that in its second season of publishing, it has captured 44% of total snowboard magazine newsstand revenue making it the Number One snowboarding magazine on North American newsstands in terms of revenue and Number Two North American in copies sold.

FSM is sold in 6,000 more locations than its competitors and drew praise from its distributor, Curtis Circulation Company. “Future Snowboarding has achieved significant newsstand sales success versus the longstanding and mature competitors Transworld Snowboarding and Snowboarder,” said Michelle P. Ingenito of Curtis Circulation Company. “Future Snowboarding is on the path to becoming the snowboarding category leader.”

The rest of the credit goes to FSM’s seasoned editorial staff, which packs each issue with entertainment, cutting-edge action, gear reviews, travel and personality. The FSM team is united behind the idea of creating content for a wide audience with content and writing that inspires all snowboarders. Each issue delivers cool design, vital information, incendiary photography, and that sense of being on the mountain in every page.

“Attaining results as dynamic as these is proof that the market was ready for a snowboard magazine that speaks to a wider audience, but is still written by insiders,” said Jason Ford, Publisher of Future Snowboarding Magazine. “FSM has managed these results in a very short eight issues over two years.
