Future Network USA Creates New Team to Lead the Launch of GamesRadar

Publisher David Cooper, Director of Internet Operations Mark Kramer, Editorial Director Stephen Pierce and Marketing Director Jason Michaels form key GamesRadar team

Brisbane, CA – (October 17, 2005) - David Cooper, Mark Kramer, Stephen Pierce and Jason Michaels have been hired to launch GamesRadar, Future 's new global consumer PC and video games information website, according to Publishing Director for Future’s Youth Division, Simon Whitcombe.

Set to launch in the first quarter of 2006, GamesRadar will be the first international games information destination on the Web and marks another major step forward in Future’s global online expansion plan.

David Cooper (Publisher) was formerly the Publisher and Vice President of Advertising Sales at Primedia Magazines, supervising all sales efforts for NFL Insider Magazine, NFL Game Day and the Official Superbowl Program. Mr. Cooper also worked as the Senior Vice President of Advertising and Sponsorships for Rivals.com as well as the Director of League Advertising Sales and Special Programs for ESPN.com.

Mark Kramer (Director of Internet Operations). Mr. Kramer previously held the role of Director of eBusiness Applications and Technology at XM Satellite Radio. He directed high profile, web-based integration projects with leading organizations that include: General Motors, American Honda, Dell and Microsoft. Additionally, as co-founder of Hirshorn Zuckerman Design Group, Inc.’s Interactive Group, Kramer helped establish HZDG as Washington DC’s third largest integrated marketing and communications agency.

Stephen Pierce (Editorial Director) previously held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the market-leading Official PlayStation 2 Magazine for Future in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Mr. Pierce served as launch Editor of Computec Media’s PSW magazine, which ranked as the biggest selling Independent PS2 magazine during Mr. Pierce’s editorship. He will be leading GamesRadar’s editorial efforts from Future’s Brisbane, CA office.

Jason Michaels (Director of Marketing) currently serves as Director of Marketing for Future’s leading US single-platform games magazines (Official Xbox Magazine, PC Gamer and PSM: 100% Independent PlayStation 2 Magazine). Mr. Michaels previously held the position as Director of Marketing for IGN.com and later served as its Publisher. Mr. Michaels also served as Marketing Manager for Next Generation and Games Business magazines.

GamesRadar will reside at the web address, www.gamesradar.com, and will replace the current version of GamesRadar that currently occupies the web address.
