Future Network Reorganizes

Future Network USA, which publishes more than a dozen enthusiast and action sports titles in the U.S., will reorganize its publishing operations into three new divisions: Youth, Music & Tech and Living, the company announced today.

Its Youth division will house Future's Games and Action Sports titles including Official Xbox Magazine, Future Snowboarding, The Snowboard Journal and Skateboarding Buyers Guide. Games publishing director Simon Whitcombe will oversee the Youth group.

Music & Tech will include titles such as Guitar World, Maximum PC and Mac Addict. Steve Aaron, who already oversees the company's music titles, will head the newly created group. He will also preside over the Living group, which includes Scrapbook Answers and four recently acquired titles: Women's Health and Fitness, Do!, Decorating Spaces and Pregnancy.

Additionally, the company promoted a number of top executives. Kathleen Reilly will become associate publisher of Scrapbook Answers. She was most recently marketing manager for the title. Andy Swanson was promoted to head of sales from publisher of Future's Games group.

Rob Smith was named associate publisher of Official Xbox Magazine. He was most recently editor in chief of the title. Lastly, Dan Morris will become associate publisher of PC Gamer. He was previously editor in chief of the title.
